March 2011: Closed windows is under development

Closed windows is a photographic installation about history.

The pictures were all taken in Jersey City, NJ, in an area that has been abandoned first by the end of the industrial era, in the late 1990's, and now with the crisis that is hitting since 2009.
The idea, beyond the closed window, is to show what people have been trying to hide, move away from, and abandon in this temporary stage of still existing.
The scarves, sometimes cautiously made, with some artistic sense, or drafted and left then, express how our community's behavior has been trying to move on from a tragic past of theirs.
